From soft tissue therapy to acupuncture and counselling — every service at Eunoia is designed to support your whole-body health and wellbeing.
ART® (Active Release Techniques, also known as Adhesion Release Method or ARM) is a state-of-the-art, highly successful soft-tissue assessment and therapy that is quickly gaining popularity for the successful treatment of myofascial (muscle & fascia), tendon, ligament, and nerve problems.
The goal of ARM is to restore optimal texture, motion, and function of the body's soft tissue and release any entrapped nerves or blood vessels. It can be used to relieve pain in a wide variety of patients — from low back pain to neck pain to hip pain to foot pain and everywhere in between.
A certified practitioner begins by positioning the affected muscle, tendon, or nerve and applies precise, targeted tension with their hands as you actively move through a stretch. As the tissue lengthens, they evaluate its texture and quality — identifying areas of healthy tissue versus scar tissue that require further work. When adhesions are found, the tension and direction are adjusted in real time to address the problem directly.
This means every ART® session is both an assessment and a treatment — allowing a certified practitioner to continuously monitor tissue health and track your progress from visit to visit.
Therapeutic massage is a hands-on treatment tailored to your body's specific needs. Whether you're managing chronic pain, recovering from an injury, or simply looking to reduce tension and restore balance, a certified practitioner works with you to develop an approach that delivers real, lasting results.
Each session focuses on improving circulation, releasing muscle tension, and promoting the deep relaxation your body needs to heal and recover effectively.
Book an AppointmentAcupuncture is a time-tested practice rooted in traditional medicine that involves the gentle insertion of fine needles at specific points on the body. It works to restore the natural flow of energy, reduce inflammation, and support the body's innate ability to heal itself.
A certified practitioner integrates acupuncture as part of a comprehensive treatment plan to address pain, stress, hormonal imbalances, digestive issues, and overall wellbeing.
Book an AppointmentFire cupping is an ancient therapy that uses heated glass cups to create suction on the skin. This negative pressure draws blood to the surface, loosens tight fascia, and encourages circulation deep within the muscle tissue.
It is particularly effective for relieving muscle tension, reducing pain, and supporting recovery from both acute and chronic conditions. Many clients find it a deeply relaxing complement to other treatments.
Book an AppointmentGua Sha is a traditional East Asian technique that involves using a smooth-edged tool to apply short strokes across the skin. This stimulates microcirculation of the soft tissues, breaks up fascia restrictions, and promotes healing at a cellular level.
It is commonly used to treat chronic pain, muscle stiffness, and inflammation, and can provide immediate relief for areas that are difficult to access through conventional massage alone.
Book an AppointmentLymphatic drainage massage is a gentle massage technique that promotes the flow of lymph fluid, which is crucial for waste removal and immune function. It involves light, rhythmic movements and pressure to stimulate the lymphatic system and help clear blockages.

Jennica is a born-and-raised Annapolis Valley counsellor with a Master's Degree in Counselling (2015) and a background in Psychology and Sociology. She works with adults and teens navigating anxiety, stress, grief, self-esteem, relationship challenges, and life transitions — with a special interest in supporting late-diagnosed ADHD individuals, particularly women seeking to understand their diagnosis.
Her approach is collaborative and trauma-informed, drawing from strength-based, person-centred, mindfulness-based, and experiential therapies. She believes meaningful growth happens when we feel safe enough to explore our experiences with curiosity and compassion — and views therapy as an individualized, empowering process that builds resilience and fosters self-understanding.
Jennica is also completing specialized training in Equine-Assisted Therapy (EAT) — an experiential approach that incorporates horses to support emotional awareness, communication skills, and confidence. This unique form of therapy offers a powerful opportunity for healing outside the traditional office setting, and is expected to be available in the coming months.
